Ford Mustang Commercial | Personal Project

This film contains AI-generated video and music. Some footage was generated using Seedance 2.0, and the background music and sound effects were generated using Ace Studio.

Ford Mustang Commercial is an exploration of AI-assisted creative workflows. I began by modeling a simple vehicle in Autodesk Maya as a visual reference, then textured it in Substance Painter and rendered still images to serve as input references. These images were used in Seedance 2.0 to generate video footage. Through extensive iteration and refinement, I produced a large library of clips for editing.

I then used After Effects for basic color correction, logo animation, and glow effects, while Premiere Pro was used to assemble and composite the footage. Background music and sound effects were created in Ace Studio, with the final edit and export completed in Premiere Pro.

The entire project was completed within 24 hours. Although there are still some minor imperfections in the final piece, I am very satisfied with this first exploration of applying AI-driven workflows to motion media.

I developed a large number of shot ideas and storyboarded the piece before using Seedance 2.0 to generate a series of video footage. Through extensive iteration and refinement, I produced a large library of clips for editing. I then used After Effects for basic color correction and text animation, Topaz Video for video upscaling, while Premiere Pro was used to assemble and composite the footage.

The entire project was completed within 24 hours. Although there are still some minor imperfections in the final piece, I am very satisfied with this initial exploration of AI-driven workflows in motion media.

Thesis Film: Forever

Forever is an award-winning 3D animated short film directed by Jiaxing Yang and Xiaoxi Zhang. Produced in Spring 2025 and released in Fall 2025, it has received notable recognition on the international festival circuit through multiple selections and awards.

The film also serves as Jiaxing Yang’s MFA thesis project at the Savannah College of Art and Design, created as part of the requirements for the Master of Fine Arts in Animation.
