Overview
Rolling Through is a title sequence created in Cinema 4D that follows a small ball as it travels through a stylized interior space. The project was designed as a broad exploration of the C4D pipeline, allowing me to study the full workflow from modeling and material development to lighting, animation, rendering, and editing. In addition to experimenting with Redshift materials and node-based shading, I also focused on spline workflows and spline-driven animation as a way to control motion across the environment. The ball rolls along a custom-defined spline path, while the camera follows and reframes the action to maintain continuity and visual rhythm. Combined with bouncing ball principles and scene-based timing, the project became an exercise in guiding the viewer’s eye through motion, using a simple animated object to connect space, sequencing, and design into a unified title piece.
